Job: Driver
Robin Hollow Farm is a fast-paced, diverse flower farm in Saunderstown, RI. We produce a wide variety of cut flowers and plants for farmers’ markets, our Providence storefront sales, and floral design for weddings and events. We also offer a weekly bouquet subscription service.
Flower Delivery and Driver Duties:
Deliver bouquets for our subscription service and other orders to Providence, Newport and South County neighborhoods two days/week. Weekly van maintenance and cleaning. Additional plant maintenance and floral studio responsibilities possible.
Must be able to drive a Sprinter van.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, enjoying good communication with customers.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Self-motivated to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with flowers, farming, or horticulture work is preferred but not required.
- Able and willing to work at physically demanding tasks. These may be repetitive and strenuous, with occasional heavy lifting (up to 30lbs).
- Good driving record a must. Experience with floral delivery preferred.
- Inquisitive minds are strongly encouraged.
- Must be able to provide Covid-19 proof of vaccination
Work period and Compensation:
April through November, 2023. Wednesday and Thursday for the season. $16-$18/hr based on experience.
