Ready to level up your Bonsai practice? Join our intermediate Bonsai class and take your skills and knowledge to the next step in the world of Bonsai. Bonsai Basics is an all-inclusive introductory, hands-on workshop, designed for people new to the art of bonsai. The 2 hour workshop covers the basics of bonsai, including:
- Brief history and origins of bonsai.
- Understanding the types of trees suitable for bonsai.
- The principles of bonsai design and styling.
- Basic techniques for planting, pruning, wiring, and repotting bonsai trees.
- Care and maintenance of bonsai trees, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
The hands-on workshop is the perfect place those who have a little knowledge but are ready to take it to the next level. The instructor will help you further train your bonsai -- bring in your plant from the Bonsai I class! No plant? Peter will have a few on-hand for purchase (or perhaps you'd like another....)
This workshop will be led by a Bonsai expert from New England Bonsai Gardens. They provide some of the happiest and healthiest Bonsai trees, and love to share their knowledge in New England!

- Essential Instruments: All the tools, soil, and necessary instruments will be readily available for your use. We've got you covered to ensure a seamless and enriching bonsai experience.
- Plants are available for purchase if you do not want to bring your own from home.
